This month, we chose to focus on sharing vetted general recommendations from the ourae team. Enjoy, and take the leap to try one or two.

Podcast Rec:
I enjoyed listening to this pod in late January through a multitude of environments including walking through Cheesman park, driving a 2014 Rav4, but not while relaxing at home.
I was getting too fired up.
Before listening to this podcast, I was unfamiliar with Chris Sacca and enjoyed his New York frankness across various topics. He shares insights into the (lack of) trouble with kids today, entrepreneurship, AI’s cannibalization of the workforce, and the importance of community. He’s currently the co-founder of a bad-ass company called Lower Carbon Capital.
As someone who enjoys listening and reading the learnings of folks who have led noteworthy lives in the public sphere, I often hear the community theme brought up. No matter the personality or social status, the common theme is every human needs to feel a sense of community.
Anyway, give this pod a listen. If you’re short on time, start at 53:26 and continue until you’re tuned out.

The Great British Bake Off - Streaming on Netflix, GBB provides an uplifting aura similar to Ted Lasso. 12 bakers enter the outdoor tent at the start of each season either happy to be there or with hopes of winning the competition.
Each week the bakers complete three separate baking challenges. At the end of the week, one baker is awarded star baker and another is sent home. The final episode features three bakers remaining and competing to win the competition.
Buckle up for organic comedy, and pastry cravings as you watch. PSA, don’t start an episode when you’re hungry.
