What is ourae? Pronounced ooo-ray. In Greek mythology, the ourae are the primordial gods of the mountains. They symbolize the raw, enduring power of nature and humanities timeless connection to the wild. Our mission is to awaken this spirit in you.

The brand was born on a summer trip across Europe in 2022. My brother from another mother Chris and I were riffing ideas back and forth... naturally brand brainstorming began. After an astounding amount of brainpower was used to fire up a google search, ourae was chosen. Primordial Greek mountain gods? Yes.

Being (relatively) career focused, we didn’t lean into the brand until 2024 founded in Denver, Colorado.
